National Real Estate Company

The National Real Estate Company (NREC) is Kuwait's fourth biggest property company, has been engaged in real estate activities since 1973. These activities primarily involve the acquisition, development, selling and management of commercial and industrial real estate which includes shopping centers, free trade zones, office blocks, and resort and retail centers. NREC contracts and operates properties for private and government sectors through its subsidiaries.

NREC leads the local private real estate sector with KD 415 million in assets and is currently involved in expanding the company’s KD 160-million-portfolio through providing innovative and pioneering investment opportunities with high-quality standards in mixed use development projects.

NREC is renowned for its proven track record that has provided a benchmark for other developers in the industry. NREC is the first and, to date, the only foreign company that operates in Libya and was first Kuwaiti company to operate in Iraq. Souk Sharq (Sharq Market) is one of NREC’s premier landmark projects and was the first waterfront project developed in Kuwait. NREC is also the developer and manager of the first free-zone area in Kuwait.

Being one of its important client, Alamia Building Company had carried out the external and internal decoration GFRC and GRC works for the New Super Market at Salmiya.
