Alamiah was awarded the subcontract for design, manufacture, supply, installation and maintenance of Precast Concrete Cladding and GRC Decorative Panels for Center for Researce and Treatment of Diabetes at Dasman, Kuwait.

Project Brief

Center for Research & Treatment of Diabetes, is a 6-storeyed building comprising of medical and health facilities, re­search lab​o­ra­to­ries, re­search library, fitness center, au­di­to­ri​um, ad­min­is­trative department and 2 basements. This center has many salient features such as recessed windows on the south for shading & increased thermal resistance, a solid precast wall on the east & west side to break away from views of the adjacent properties and a curved curtain wall facade on the north facing the ocean that will allow the occupants with panoramic views. The Center for Research and Treatment of Diabetes is considered an international center for research into diabetes, as well as positioning Kuwait to be a leader in the prevention and treatment of this disease.
